Zulia Poncho Knitting Pattern

This poncho is a very simple knit with just a four-row pattern repeat (with only one row that requires more attention) so it’s perfect for a relaxing knit. Worked in Merino Worsted yarn from the Louise Robert Collection, it’s a pleasure to knit such a soft and lovely yarn. The poncho also features a simple 3-stitch Icord edging and, when complete the bind-off edge is sewn to the side to create the poncho shape (or, for the wrap, left open and unseamed).

In addition to the pattern, you will need the following materials to knit the Zulia Poncho:

• Louise Robert Collection - Merino Worsted (100% Superwash Merino, 200 m / 220 yds, 100g) 4 skeins or 786 meters of worsted weight yarn (shown in color Oatmeal)
• 4.5 mm knitting needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
• Tapestry needle

GAUGE : 23 sts & 29 rows = 10cm (4”) in Double Eyelet Rib

SIZE : One Size (wrap & poncho)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS : Width = 45.5 cm [18 in] / Length = 147.5 cm [58 in] / Neckline Circumference (Poncho) = 76 cm [30 in] / Lower Edge Circumference (Poncho) = 142 cm [56 in ]
